#002 Dimetree ("die-meh-tree")

Moving on to larger prey, it lures them in with its blossoming tail, keep itself hidden with the help of the leaf on its back. When it gets close enough, it quickly knocks its prey down with its muscular front legs, and quickly dispatches them with its powerful jaws.

Well that's two down in terms of the starters' second stages. As it's probably obviously, Dimetree is even more inspired by Dimetrodon, the prehistoric not-dinosaur. This one was a real pain to figure out, and went through several concepts before deciding on this one (the others looked too awkward, or "too evolved", and I already got the third form set
).
So, expect to see Dilocano's evolved form next!
