Ganmel, with Beast Forme

A current experiment in Area 151, Ganmel's true origins are a mystery. Its armor serves to enhance its abilities, and acts as a life-support system for its somewhat frail body. It appears to have abilities dealing with a sixth sense, and is currently being tested as a means to defend against threats from beyond our planet.

Steel/Psychic type.

BEAST FORME
Ganmel's fury is unleashed, shattering much of its armor to improve its movement capabilities. With heightened Attack and Speed, it goes on an unstoppable rage, not resting until its enemy is lifeless and torn asunder.

Wanted to do an Eva-inspired fakemon for a while now, but was beaten to the punch for Eva Unit 01. : p
Sooo, decided to go ahead and settle on Unit 02 as a reference, and added that sweet-ass beast mode from the second Rebuild movie.
And, once again, seems like I can't escape my love of Gurren Lagann, and thus that's where the name comes in. Basically a mash-up of "GANMen" ("Gunman" in the dub) and "evangELion".
Type is a bit generic, I find, but if I went with my original idea of Steel/Dark, it could get rocked by a Fighting type, which would kinda suck for a giant mech-ish pokemon.
Lastly, I guess you could consider this the Mewtwo/Deoxys of my region.
