Deep Dive

Another old work of mine, but still a favorite, and a nostalgic look at the glorious time of wonder that was the pre-Kingdom Hearts II era. If it was one thing that was lacking in the game, it was THIS event as a playable battle...

But anyway, as the title says, this is a picture inspired by the secret trailers shown at the end of Kingdom Hearts, and KH: Final Mix. Back before we knew that our little dual-wielder was a blond-haired remnant of Sora, and a somewhat-misleading indication that KH II would be drastically darker (okay, so it was, but it wasn't THAT dark ).

Anyway, done back in 2003, in pencil and Sharpies.
