Description
Mortipede
Death Worm Pokemon
HT: 5'11
WT: 126 lbs
It propels itself through sand dunes using its tail flame as a thruster, approaching speeds of 70 mph when underground. Generating an electrical field from its spikes, it is able to detect prey from over a mile away. Once it finds it, it spits an acid that can eat through metal, finishing off its victim with a quick chop from its pincers, which are strong enough to snap a steel beam.
Fire/Bug Type.

Alright, almost done here; second-to-last entry for 's fakemon challenge. For this one, it's a fire/water/grass type with a serpentine body.
This friendly little guy is based on the mythical (or is it?) Mongolian Death Worm, said to live in the Gobi Desert, and said to not only spit acid, but also able to shock you from afar. I think I'll take my chances with those Tremors worms...
The name is a combination of "MORTe", as in "death", and obviously "centIPEDE".
Micron pens.
Crayola color pencils, some Prismacolor marker.
Touch-ups in GIMP.
