Highly intelligent and curious, pods of this Pokemon wander close to harbors and ships, often becoming a nuisance as they ram into small boats and tear fishing nets to steal catches. If a ship sinks, sailors will sometimes assume they come for aid, only for Purpoise to pull them further out to sea. These habits have earned them the nickname of "Devil-Fish".

Over-hunting of these Pokemon in the past has made them highly aggressive, and sections of the ocean where they migrate are blocked off for the safety of watercraft. Rarely seen in shallow waters, they dive deep into the ocean depths to hunt Tentachaos; their strong skulls protecting them from serious harm, though they tend to be covered in scars from past hunts.

A double-whammy of fakemon this time, with the final form coming at some point.
I like how these came out on a whim, but these are a real bitch to name, or should I say Cephermad is (and even that might not be the final name I decide on).

Anyway, Purpoise = "porpoise" + "purpose; Cephermad = "macroCEPHalus" (part of the sperm whale's Latin name) + "sPERM whale" + "mad".
