It lives just outside the planet's atmosphere, coasting on solar winds that pass by with its thin body. It absorbs radiation directly from the sun, forgoing the need to eat and therefore lacks a mouth. Because of this, they are extremely radioactive, and direct contact with them is not advised without the proper procedures.
Groups of them can be detected in the skies when auroras are present, and they seem to dance about by twirling their "blades" about. It's quite a sight to see them streak through the night sky like shooting stars.

Another submission to 's fakemon challenge, this time we have one based on the concept of an energy that is -not- of the electric variety. So here we are with something based on radiation in general, and is based on the shape of the warning symbol for radioactivity.

The name of this little guy/gal comes from "RADIOactive" and "OPHANIm", one of the highest order of biblical angels. On an interesting side-note, they were said to appear as flaming wheels, and Radiophani's habit of spinning is a nice coincidence to that fact.
